Kurr. 93 = A. rosea Willk. Bes. 1/20 = C. balearica Cos.
Willk. All I 397 at X XVII. Fl. Puig Gros-Veya gorge C. Vall-
demosa (about 780-800 M. alt.). Plant quite erect at 4o/5
in high not tall but straight and robust, but might
by thinning out several sts (one is starting) done.
As looks like All (Willk.) soon specimen C all joints
the lower with 5-7 lfts, the upper lfts not nearly as
unequal to low as I remember in core
var of A. Vulneraria in Switzerland. Heads of 13-21
fls, flesh colored with faint stripes (notas purpurea
(All Willk)). Fl 1.5 cm overall. Willk says 2 cm. Bracts
Q about 10-12 divt, exceeding fls in length (eldest fad nos)
12 x 4 mm, its stalk 3 mm. All lfts a free abaxr,
silky beneath. If as Kurrche states 500 M is lower limit
of this var balearica, the plant col may not be typ-
ically developed. Kiel purple. Fls vat standard shaped
quite like all (Willk.) Puig Gros-Veya gorge =

stiff slope along wall from rocks above was
found to the Valldemosa path. Plant Q one erect at.
4 1/2 in high which might easily be taken for poor
developed space above. But lower hs almost uninj'd
(must a terminal lft) a great distance from
