longer than wide 686 5-29-32 Silene A. 1/2. Cula Figuera. Low linear; all parts softly hairy. Duff loose, 1-2 flat lobes, truncate. Calyx umbelled, handsomely veined, closing over top of pod. Pod globose, 7mm long or at least 4 mm wide. Dimple side flat on sides & diff. ruffle winged on back [Ident by Kew as S. sericea All] 687 5-29-32 Silene B. Flu old fr. Decumbent or beach at Colonia. Low alwte. browder than A, Duff much the same. Flw seen generally the same but fruiting pods smaller, seen to shed seed without turning back both capsule. No seed to study. Petals pale pink slightly greenish below. Claws exerted about 3mm beyond calyx [Ident by Kew as S. sericea All] 688 5-29-32 Mesembryanthemum nodiflorum (See 3-23 & 5-18-32) Fl. Common on beach at Colonia. Same as(5-18-32). [Identified by Kew to MusK]
