St. not "compressible utricles" (Cote); pedicels as long as calyx; claws & petals enough longer than calyx to show light bit. lower vs upper petals. Lower lw. no ill (Cote) but no subtending fl. D 3-venise lfto. 1-28-32 Lathyrus (Lechrus DC. Kn II/125; Bas 144; Bon 88, Cote I 396 roof nts. Field near newst clay pit bet. San Vida & Calvia' Rd. St 9 in long. lws all unifol, veniles vs strongly de- current that base none reaches to face of the one below. Lw terminated by 1-3 tendicle. St pedicels none. 1-29-32 Anthyllis Cytisoides L. Kn II/8?, Bas III, Bon 99, Cote I 3/7 Fl. Back rd from Kenoza to Calvia Rd'. Stamens almost partly or quite diadelphous (As remembered this was observed 1930-31, but not put in notes). Young shoots from plant cut to ground have terminal lfts & lws 20x25 mm. i.e. longer vs much brooder than normal? specimens. 1-29-32 Anemone coronaria L. Kn I/480, Bes 8, Bon 5, Cote I 42 B&GCP 275. Fl (blue) Calvia Rd'. Stamens very dark blue.
