5-5-32 near base in raceme, each flm axil 1 one of two opp brs, these brs decreasing in size till up- permost are 30mm long. Allors linear v-like lower br flms at tip. Only floor apce are a few withed at tips of branches (stamens fully developed). These have calyx 8mm high, narrow tubular, narrowing to base v contracted at apex; 10 red veins (which between with some cross veins towards apex but can't say if def anastomosing. Calyx not umbilica, teeth def ciliate (apart from lines which on this lacks withed corolla projects only 2mm beyond calyx, limb back as tho had been reddish but seals v clear greenish. Limb 2-cleft to the scales & scales 2-lobed. Filaments glabrosa. On fr. Calyx much the same but swollen in middle, the tips of teeth slightly spreading (tho calyx contracted at top) & very slightly longer tho capsule. Capsule just before opening 7mm v conical at tip on glabrous scapeplane 2 mm. Seeds less than 1mm, deeply hollowed on side v slightly lobbed but dived on back, with finely marking encircling 8 small raised lozenges with longest dimension crosswise of seed. Seed dull brown, edges round. Fls so shortly pedicelled that they're the upper ones look sessile. Infl very like ill (Costa) & gallica_ (but filaments not "velutula laxi"), "not at all like ill (Bon) [all but no help]. If not S. gallica the only pers in Bar seems S. cerasioides L. Bar 569.
