Poto-Pi road from crest to Fort at corner of vacant ground east of fort. Ident by Cote and SVT by upper joint of ped def, tapering to style. Smallest fs. pedicell is 5"4 (not as slender as in R. linnaean. um; lower joint of pod 1 1/2-2 mm (a little thicker than pedicel. But note also: that fs., esp the upper joint is very rough hairy. 5-5-32 Cerinthagallium maritimum L. (see 4-23-32) FL Poto Pi, in mound at east side of fort (1/spec) and in slope where path from crest of fort meets highway west of Poto-Pi (several specimens) 660 [I now identify this as S. cerastioides L. 5-5-32 Silene FL in all stages Poto-Pi west of fort in section where Conclus spinosus is found or just beyond its inland limit. Sts, low & calicestem reddish (a.t.S. Fort next- ical), branching at top into many branches (which branch again near base or are simple) recurved at base but with tips ascending. Whole plant hairy but no sign of glands. Lower leaves oblanceolate oval & thin the largest 15 x 4 mm. Branchlets fld from near
