FL Field east of Orient est opening path down from Claro
castle. FL with L. sphaericus Rey, white st running
part underground sending up branches at inter-
vals but also bearing at top roots and at intervals
along subterranean at, subterranean branches
which thicken towards end and bear 1 (poor one) of which
this completely underground are fully formed the
not wide open. These flowers glabrous, calyx white (blue?)
but standard wings pink (not as strongly colored
as in above ground fl), beel red at tip, style tufted,
ovary glabrous, axile, deeply grooved on back
1-(part 2) coiled. These fl 7-8mm long. The above-
ground st 16-15 cm long, angled (perhaps could be
called narrowly winged), tho' looking glabrous
vglauous has a few tubercle-like hairs on angles
on upper part. Ls all 2-foliolate. Lfts flowers too often
very small (3mm long) with tendrils 1-1½ mm. The
upper lvs. & flattened particle of 5mm or less, the lfts
increasing in size till upper most are 15-20 mm
with a couple of veins.
x 2-2¼ mm wide, distinctly 3-nerved, with tendrils
(short on most if at. too) on uppermost 1 cm long v curl-
ing but always simple. Stipule longer than
particle, half airrow slope, the upper lobe to 1½ mm
and 2 v 3-nerved (thence looking much like lft,
the lower lobe narrower 1-nerved. Stipules ther-
