Brown, smooth or obscurely warty with flattened white caruncle 1/2 on young short & strong blades, late densely pinnately veined 1/2 x 5 mm, narrowed at base to broadened mid rib, almost sessile, rounded at tip with a tiny fold at mid. vein which makes them look apiculate, very finely serrate with a very narrow reddish margin (this color might not be visible except with microscope or strong electric light).
