root sending from its top very many clefts at (a.t.s somewhat decumbent) making very bushy effect. Some also crowded with linear 1-seeded but others with narrower part (half or more) a many branched cymose-particle (at least thin erect.) branches seem to have blossomed first). Fl. of old garden at entrance to Formentera Golf Course all with same growing in garden at Mari Gil Hotel Puerto Pollenza. Would be tented to be Artemisia Abrotanum L. Bar 244, Box 165 S & 50, BMGCP 720 except that BMGCP says heads "pinaceros" v Bar Cabezuelas pequeñas and these heads are fully pinaceros. Racemes unilateral only after flowering. Refers that the heads on pedicels ½ in slightly nodding Bracts firm, white silky outside, thick in the middle with rather broad, scarious yellowish border. Receptacle conical, papil- lated. Pales (perhaps improperly blood- ed) seem included in lower part of involute tube (!!) segments the finely div- ided 3-parted into 1-2+ mins. Lf white.
