Formentor Rl. upper part scape purplish. pedicles white, pedes white with only incomp. stripe (brownish) at hip or back. No lvs (a.x.s). Bulb 10+cm, red outside turned v reddish inside with structure like common onion except that layers are crescents and not circles. 10-31-30 Euphorbia peplis L. Kn # 146, Bar 411, Bon 298 BVH 405 (excl desc.) Fz. Cala Pi, Formentor. Root for (yealips not ripe) white, 2.5-3 mm (Bon). St purple v most & lvs purple abv. & b. flat on sand with fr. on underside, invisible from above. 10-31-30 Eryngium maritimum L. Kn II 224 Bar 214, Bon 135, BVH 186 Fl v Fz. Cala Pi, Formentor. BM JCP 561 Handsome green-gray plant. Lvs with narrow removed edges & white.
