3-2-31 Eruca sativa Lam. (See 3-4-30) Crte I 98 Flv very young fr. Field at entrance to Portola. Note lower lvs. in color, texture conspicuous light mid-rib very suggestive of Diplotoxio erucoid. ls but more deeply cut in narrower segments (ill Crte not good). St. lvs very great- ly - almost simple or like ill Crte or narrow deeply cut small toothed segments (see 3-4-30) The petals narrowed to throat with dark vein in center of this narrowed portion form a more distinct cross than many of this family. Young buds have sepals as true. ?? 11-22-30. 3-2-31 Diplotoxio virginica DC (See 10-26-30) Crte I 80 Flv fr. Cas Catala Hotel same spot as 12-29-30. Relative length of pedicel vs pods seems to vary greatly. Perhaps normally 1/4 or less (Crte) but in one case (seeds fallen) pedicel 8 mm vs pod 17mm, and on same plant lower/pod or at (mature?) pedicel 12 mm vs pod 18 mm. 3-2-31 Paronychia capitata forma nivea (See 3-20-30) Cr = P. nivea DC. Crte I 161 Seed. Petals west side rd near fonda (opp threading creek) same plate as 3-20-30.
