2-2-31 Serlymus hispanicus L. (see 1-26-31) Basally only Bona Nova. Identified by Ross as same as "Cardilloe" bought by SK in market, the mid-rib of young lvs to be eaten as "greens". See Ber 293 2-2-31 Valantia muralis (see 1-9-31) FL v. ftr Bellver. Note crown on fr shows when fl is fully developed. Largest lvs 4 x 2ΒΌ mm over all, more obovate than ill Cote II 253, distinctly narrowed to petiole 2-2-31? Thesium leunile Vahl. (See 4-10-30) Cote III 219 Very young bud. Bellver, near path west fgate. 2-2-31 Melissa officinalis L. Ku II Ber 362 Rm 256; BvH 362; BM CP 648; Cote III 97. 4/105. Remains inf l vng lvs Bellver 2-w corner. St almost glab rous but petioles lirescate (esp. on edges) making a nettle-like effect. Calyx about 9 mm overall, pubescent outside v inside but not bearded in- side. The flt appers to be back with short 3- toothed upper lip curved upward & narrower longer lower l lip distinctive. Lemon odor very definite L vs hairy
