of stalk which bore the achene. Rays 9-11, fasciculate.
Fertile, yellow, lightly veined, 3-toothed recurved
at tip. Disk flo subulate, 5 toothed, brownish (one
part collected). Stigmas blunt v broadened at tips,
curled outward. Anthers fss, not tailed at base.
Achenes 5mm long, cylindrical, pubescent, beppes
(denticulate, slightly hairy hairs) of various
lengths (largest about 1 cm, not as long as cor-
olla tube) not copious. Lvs annulato dentate on
edges. This seems to point to Senecio Tribe.
