Pduncles rising directly from the base, the longest not 1 in high. All parts of plant with white rather appressed hairs which are very thickly placed at base of calyx. Sepals 3-nerved with distinctly ciliate incised hyaline border, the mid. nerves projecting as very slight bright red tip (from below - real tip) with 1-2 short white terminal droves. Claw of petal ciliate (BMJ C.P.). Gland at base of fertile filaments dark & v conspicuous (20x) Base of styles hairy pub. in P. Cf. with E moscha- tum of 12-5-30. Lf's general aspect quite diff., Fr's much the same except depression atop of carpel not glandular v the ridge surrounding it thicker than in E. moschatum (See 8-11-32 12-10-30 Torilis nodosa Gaertn (See 9-27 & 4-10-30) Fr on dead v dandel at T.R.
