red deriv. rootlets.
11-19-30 Viola arborescens L. (see 11--30)/Flu fr. Large clumps on rid to Satanlora top of bank west side.
11-22-30 Echinopslosoa spinosa L. Kutt 238 Box 135. Not in Bar. Beach east of Arenal (Kitt calls it Republicana) Low 2-3 pinnate. Petals white or tinged red, more or less beeked on inside w inflexed tip crest-like. Styles straight, about ½ longer than petals [Fls may be more or less monoecious as some seem to have no styles & those with styles have at least sometimes short stamens]. 5 pme tipped calyx lobes unequal, the outside one largest. Frs def. embodied in receptacle.
