alt, thick, entire, oval or slightly obovate,
base rounded at base, same at apex with mid-
rif ending in very slight but def. & sharp
downward curved thorns 1/4 to 1 1/2 - 7/8 in
rather obscurely pinnate nervd. glabrous
pulp of globose (can't tell because just)
Petiole 1/4 in, thick twisted, pubescent on upper
side. Stipules consist of sharp, slender,
yellowish, recurved thorns 3-4 mm long.
Internodes on end of at collected shorter than
