across diag. single many short peduncles which terminate about axillary branches. Sometimes 2 peduncles spring from same point. Fr. with peduncles elongated to 3/4 in. No seem to be alt. with a branch bearing flower each lf. Calyx usually 4-5 parted, (Seems usually 4), pubescent, lobe ends no hairs no longer than the others.
