Lvs 3 lobed (or 5 with 2 short lobes at base), the middle lobe much longer than the others a little larger than the undivided part 1 1/4, acuminate not narrowed at base. Lf cordate, smooth above & densely to beneath; more or less stellate pubescent beneath. Petioles slender. Calyx in length, divided below middle, stellate pubescent. Ovary stellate pubescent. These may be subtending bracts.
