lower lobes rather longer than the upper, the upper since broader than the others giving calyx a slightly oblique effect (but hardly bi-labiate). Fl. 2 in overall. Standard, not erect, long, about as long as narrower wings but shorter than keel. Cordia yellow with few rusty hairs like those on calyx on back of standard or keel. Keel straight, folding downward in immaturity so as to expose the monodelphous stamens & slender style which seems to be articulated below the slightly upward curving and shaped apex.
