Heads nodding in bud are upright in fl. Not A
Arbaeformis since it is practically smooth,
not “áspera y cubierta de cerdas gancludas”.
Bracts [in]fl also smooth, not “pellicizado por
su dorso”. Peduncle somewhat enlarged at top.
Corrolle basal lvs. differe & 2-brancling at issue
from crown root. Achenes (mone ripe) pair of rough
or ridges. Ls. rather sparsely hairy with hairs
often bifurcated at tops. Plant light yellowish green.
