Poro E. medicaginea Britton K. 159, Bar 418 4-20-30 Euphorbia F-lef. Prob 2 side divide & flgls & head v prob could be called "oblatby," redolint glamat mabdas too droeasily. Lvs sessile, close to- getter v pointing upward 1 3/4 x 3/8in, glabrous but parts more glaucous, obtuse at apex with midrib forming a short point wth sides of it slightly joined together. Definitely dentate with lower irreg teeth at apex which grow less less more more oblique towards base. Several axillary rays below umbel. Rays 5, 3 or 4 times bifurcated. Bracts from umbel very like lvs. Bracts at bifurcations irreg Linear, broad at base v slightly cordate. Basal lobes rounded, tip blunt, slightly notched, midrib ending in short point. One side of bract usually narrower than other, its edge concave. Glands green or deep yellow definitely semi- lunars. Capsule roughened with obscure whitish points, seed rather deeply 3 divided. seed black, single with whitish dot & flecks. Caruncles white rounded Cap. deeply notched in front. Seeds suggest prop E. peltigera L. (or E. linbricata Vahl, Bar 414) but note that this is quite diff from 4-18-30. which prop might be E. parviflora.
