West of Cas Catala do flr fr. Shrublike, grey-
isle, almost no lvs but branchlets v
Tips? branches provided with all thorns
as 3/4 in long tipped with sharp yellowish
points, sometimes a thorn had 2 almost mes
to sides at base. Thorn detach form st as
would petiole of lf. Below each thorn se-
man's a tiny scale v below each
branchlet a spiniferous scale such as on
some sp. of Asparagus. Could this be A.
stipularis Forsk KNT 381 = A. horridual.
Bar 442, (see 3-80-30 v 11-5-36) (2-16-31 Pro identifies
this as source of the asparagus sold in Palma shops)
2-14-30 Asparagus albus L
do flr fr. West of Ports Pi just west of Cas Catala, looks
like another Asparagus St. Very slender, white,
somewhat ridged? 2 in long lvs in fascles in
axil of straight thorn 1/2-3/8 in long. Thorn has
game clas as at v not articulated with it.
Consider Albus L or A acutiflous L. Cloddes not
at all prickly.
