Transcription
10mm from tip to tip, 3mm wide, pubescent,
transversely wrinkled with fibrous
veins which are very distinct from
inside. Ovoid (only just studied) ?7 of which
4 are developing. Pod looks like ill T. Crinier
lata L. Bon 16, except that curve is rather nearer
stem end, and more like T. monopelicea
than T. polycrata. Not sure what Bon means
in dimensions (fr.)

Flv young fr. With abrs., 1-3 in high In all broad,
very narrowly lanceolate, the largest 15/8 x 7/8 ins
but often shorter sometimes almost linear 1/6 in.
wide, acute at apex & tapered to narrow base. Hairy
with long, white spreading hairs not velvety or
woolly. Rather rough to touch abrs. Peduncle our.
ascending low, plump (perhaps larger at top
than at base, not at all striate, slightly pubes-
cent with spreading white hairs among
which are others 2-4 times as long. Heads from 5/8
in high, 2 fld on tiny plants to 7 in high v/12 fld
on larger plants. Pubescent (looks gland-pub. but
that may be caused by pollen) Bracts narrow-
lirate, white margined at base. tapering into
a longish, thick but blunt point. Outer spals
thick & stiff narrowly white.
