Box 305. Vacant lot west of cloth factory Establish-
ments on side road. Studied 4-13-30 with
(B) Gladiolus illyricus Koch col. Bellver 4-10-30.
Ident. chiefly by rules (A) having no indication
of wings v (B) with very evident indications of
wings, In add. (A) has anthers 16 mm or filaments
14 mm. (A) a less delicate plant than (B) low 10-19mm
wide, at 3+ median, considerably zig-zaged in infl
so that the 2 rows of flo this turn to same side from
2 definite rows with a space between. Flo larger than
(B) to 2 in overall, v not as deeply colored (Bee says
"rosadas") tho this may be partly due to having open-
ed in the house. Spathe valve proportionately longer than
(B) tho none reach tips of fl. Shape of pendants deg
much the same in A/B; perhaps upper later
seg are proportionately narrower in B.
