BovH 110 ill. Fl. Bellver with above, fine high. Fl. 3/8+ in
Calyx cut almost to base, the seg. 3-toothed at apex &
as long as standard. Standard white very
pale pink, delicately veined in lighter darker
pink, wings white. Very pubescent, ovules
about 16 in 2 rows. Floral hr. 3-flute exactly
like others (Bes. says 1-flute, Bon & BovH ill 3 flute)
Fls love solitary not in raceme. (See 4-14-30
4-3-30 Billbergia nutans Wendl. B.MQCP 146
Fl. grown in pots at Mr. Shorts English Tea House. Lvs
to 24 x 7/8 in, green & shining above, scarify in
lines on back, form, arching, very acuminete.
