3-30-30 Olea europaea L. Dar 308 Small tree on which S.T put his dark blotch in Cas Catala gorge path to Bendinat, Twig gray, grooved in lines running from base of petioles. Loripap, extstipulate, coriaceous, flaccolate to 1¾ x ½ in entire edges slightly revolute, tips broadly cune but sharp imseronate. Petiole 3-8 mm. Dark green above, pale below. Young leaves hairy, felbate scales on & on both sides beneath more or less with same scales. Not Phillyrea angustifolia L. Coll. nearby (Same as cult. olive col. later.) 3-30-30 Aragallis arvensis h. (See 2-4 v 3-14-30). Path at back of Bendinat Castle. Fl. red. A small patchy plants were the 1st with red fls seen in Majorca tho the blue fls are common everywhere. 3-30-30 Thymus capitatus, N.B. Vhmlk kut 356 Dar 357. Remajas coll in Florence. Low shrub, no flwrs. Path from Bendinat to Portale mead side slintly before reaching highway. St. hard v woody, young shoots thick v white with short stiff hairs. Loripaps making a cross when fixing is looked at end or.
