Thistle, st slender winged with supply points,
apiney wings thorn less white velby. Lvs
glabercent dors, white velby beneath, prickly.
Fl in narrow long heads singly or severally
almost a quite sessile. Anthers seem lacets
at base (below point of joining filaments) yet
(see Bar 261) only genera in tribe C with
