Small delicate plant, branched from base, spreading to 3 in. St very delicate but not so lax, angled, dark colored, slight puberulent. Lower lvs puffs, upper lvs 2 for lf ts, tendril reduced to very slight appendage. Lfts very obtuse petiolate, obovate 5mm x 3mm, serrately truncate at apex and very definitely mucr. ate. Almost entire, veins above plainly towards 3 (or 5?)-veined from base. Puberulent when young y continuing somewhat so. Stipules small, l/ leaf spear shaped, but little fary toothed otherwise, when young with bright purple spot. One bract from base leaf lvs with 2 pr lfts narrowly lance- olate 10mm x 2+ mm. 197 RBX 3-19-30 ? Festuca geniculata Willd var tenuis Ku I 32, Stems on walls above Formalutx. Prod delicate fibrous (1st annual). St very slender 6cm & less high with several lvs, the upper 1/s sometimes over- hopping infl. Lvs ½ mm wide, pubescent with spread in hairs. trigule mentuene one, dentate
