3-19-30 Cyclamen balearicum Willk Kuttz 263 Box 203, F.L. (for 2nd season) above Fornalutx. Knoche considers this diff from C. europaeum L v Crepandum (see Box 209) but not evident in what respect. Teeth of lvs very secure. (See 3-26-30 3-19-30 Saxifraga tridactylites L. Box 186, Box 115 BVH 17 still) see Kn # 46 S. tridactylites L forma tenerima Burn v.B. (which Kn seems to consider only one in island). Plants 1-2 in high all bearing same fl. but diff in lvs. The larger ones (2) lvs 3-lobed to summit. Wt lower lvs 3-lobed, upper ones simple. (c.) all lvs simple the upper ones fleshy. Styles widely divergent when petals fall. On walls above Fornalutx 3-19-30 Cardamine hirsuta L. Kn II 29, Box 37 Box 37, BVH 34 Walls etc. common above Fornalutx. Plant more delicate w/ much fewer basal lvs than ill BVH. but quite like ill Box. Fls fr. Plant bright green w/ lobs glabrous but has a few almost erect white hairs esp. on upper side of lvs. Seeds flat minutely granular, accumbent. (See 4-14-30 3-19-30 Geranium rotundifolium L See 3-11-30) Near Forma- lutx. Plant 2 in high. Peduncle almost basal.
