bought. As remembered in Bermuda. Petals red,
dark at base, tube yellow. Stamens do not seem at
one side declining & arching. Anthers face outward?
Style folded down, stigmatic edges to top.
3-18-30 Hypericum balearicum L. Kut 184 Bar.
86 Collected by Mr. Nesor, hills abv Kenwa. Sepals
as compressed laterally as trapjawn backed; green
or beel, white or indigo, which is prolonged
into point at apex. Pedals not notched (See 3-26 v
4-14-30.

Note: Knoble does not give distribution outside of
Balearic, like 3-20-30 except fewer fld 4, v in
col of fl. Work, spur & tracts are purple, lateral
lobes lip very dark purple, middle lobe a lighter
purple (somewhat darker than sepals) - this differs
from desc. Bes which says "casi blanco" - with
several dark purple spots. All backs 8-veined
faintly. Spur 5mm wide at tip.
