Pillar Point At the Point the north side strikes N.80 E. Dip.70 N.W. Dip.70 N.W. I now see that these beds are one of the Upper Sant. series. The beds or face of layers of Oolitic Iron. And they lie with guns of shale and limy li. Further in the Ore Series Core is the ? Loma Gulch veins: li, seeming with the same strike as the Pillar Point beds. Could not get around it today because of the high tide.
