On Sunday Sep.7 I was at Montmorenci
and here in the Lorraine there is now a brick
making plant. The forms gang lines none seen. The
shales are dark blue, and almost devoid of sandstone.
In two places near my shales current ripples with the
crest about 4 inches apart. Their trend was roughly N.-S
in the opposite of the strike of the formations.
