Clinton reef. On the top of the Clinton heavy bedder [illegible] down the guide limestone at the second orester house occurs a by-gas reef about 12 feet long by 5-6 feet high. It begins about one forty kilometers short of the lie, and continues shut up from into the shale. Over it the Rochester shale distinctly arises. See my photo and theme by Darle.
