About half way between Montmoring and St. Genere de Beaurepre is the fine exposure of the Trenton limestone with the Hudson shale in place above. In other words, the lower faunletted men is rising as one foresees to the N.E. Hudson R. Trento li Quatre Riviere, Tamarac. Farther east at Beaurepre the Trenton is again seen. There are the lower thrown men lie as a syncline with the lower just also near Montmoring. Just Montmaring. Hudson R. Trento li River level Hudson River Trenton li South of St. Francis Xavin or 38 miles from Quebec one sees elevated tracks at about 60 feet. In filled sand from the Laurentides. Some of this material seems to lie in part of a fault scarp. At Murray Bay on each side of the river (80 miles E of Quebec) elevated terraces are again well seen. Here they ex- tend quite high probably to 300 or even 400 feet.
