miles E. of Leraz (>Libaty on map), Texas. In Hue shales just above Seminifer limestone. The topmost stratum, red and chalky. Fine Bernotha fauna of gastropods and bivalves. See pen in section. Then started over past Leraz and south to Cisco. At 8 miles N. of Cisco in Upper Breckinridge limestone found an abundance of Johora ferinae. Nothing else. Have a piece of the limestone. Locality (3) on P.-M. maps, just below Breckinridge limestone, 3 1/2 miles N.-E. of Cisco. Small fauna of no particular value. Locality (4) on P.-M. maps. About 10 feet beneath Upper Breckinridge limestone. About 6 miles N.-E. of Cisco, Texas. Fossils of little value. Screws collected at localities (2) and (1). Had lunch at Leraz and a good cuppa at Cisco. Left Earland at 9 P.M.
