Eastland, Texas Saturday, March 18, 1922. Got up at 6.30 and at 8 A.M. we are off to the north for the Bemisight localities. The morning is calm and dark in Texas. Later on it cleared up, but the day was very windy and dusty. All of our collecting today was in the Cisco series. Locality 2 on Plummer - Morris map. It is 7 miles N.-E. of Cisco, and 7 miles N.-W. of Eastland. The locality is just east of Cisco and North Western R.R., near the two stars be- side railroad in map. Horizon is between Bemisight and Breckenridge divorties, in Thurifty formation. This faunule is marled by large Seminula argentes and an abundance of Orby crana ad L. linnetti. Locality 1 on P.-M. map. The largest lot 7 mils. One mile S. of Bemisight and 1/2
