for many miles. Today they are testing out
atwr 240,000 barrels per day, though they
have taken out as much as 90,000 barrels.
The peak has been up to about 190,000 b,
per day.
The oil is Heavil at wrt 37 deg Baume and
decides with a paraffine base. The first
well yielded 13,000 barrels though reported at
30,000. Experimental oil men say it is the
finest of the large fields with large wells ever
hoped in America. Tshs estimates 90
million barrels of oil available.
The oil is at the base of the duffer Cre.
Taceus in the Dorroline sandstone. The
sand is succeeding fine like that of
Miami level Florida. Overlying this sand
is the Eagle Ford Heavil shale and it is
justly the source of the oil. Salt water is
present under great pressure. The Drodthir
is reached at atwrt 3000 feet.
