Wea. FRI. JAN. 29, 1909 Ther.
September 8 - 1904. Monday
Shipped my five trees, took a receipt and left Paterson at 11.15 A.M. Left the train at Cross Point, then by boat to the Restigouche Ferry across the river to Campbellton. Here I stopped at the new Restigouche Hotel one night. A fair looking and good hotel for the place.
September 9 - 1904, Tuesday,
Had a hair cut and then got ready to take the train for New Glasgow (no other) expect to arrive at 10.45 P.M. Start at 11 A.M. Sent Bell a telegram that I would see him tomorrow morning at 9h. M.
Left for New Glasgow on time at 10.45 P.M. Put up again at the Vendome Hotel.
