6 July - at mouth of the lower tributary of
Oolannogowik a nest of Laves
by per laves was found - on a gravel
mound in middle of large gravel
bar. Mound about 2 feet high, 6 ft in
diameter. Nest, a depression in gravel
with some vegetable debris, held one
recently hatched young and two pipped
eggs.
