"Much fragmentary Paradoxids from Stiffland Cove, Trinity Bay. It is all in pieces but walls are numerous. Sometimes gives 1/4 inch thick in sandstone. Middle Cambrian fossils from Hopeful Arms, Trinity Bay are fragmentary but are very fine. They are out of arenaceous limestone, or slaty sandstones. Fine plump and large Stigolithes (here labeled "Archaeogathon" — ?) from a red limestone at Foster's Point, Smith's Sound. = Lower Cambrian. ( = Arthrophleuro) Fine entire Conoccephalids preparations from Randall Island, Trinity Bay. I saw also 2 entire small trilobites (not named) from Manuels. Evidently only of the Middle Cambrian.
