Tuesday August 23 - 910
Started early to collect the Graves section
and did not get back to Mrs McDonald's
until 8.15 P.M. Then packed our box so
that we may return with the mail man
in the morning.
In about a half mile from the Graves
Spring north east we came upon the limestone
of zone described by Howley and copied on
a previous page. The only fossils seen and
collected were Anthoceras and Maclurea opercularis, like those
found in what are regarded as zone 8 at the
Primontory facing Reddys Station, Bonne
Day.
In zone 2 we got more fossils and many
traces were seen but could not haul or over
smooth tally. See those gathered. The large
