dark. In the arrid fire flat hinterlands in 5 x 6 x 12 x 6 x 30 = 62 feet above the present sea level. From Blanche Pier east to the sands are seen the first moraines of any seen in Newfoundland. Everywhere the land is covered with erratics and the irregular topography seen in moraine country.
