Clinton. The thin bedded brown Clinton district
overlaps the Medina. The contact is more or less
conformable but with distinct bottom irregularities.
The contact is very marked where the Medina is
cross-bedded. It looks as if there is here
8 to 9 feet of thin bedded Clinton followed
by the heavy bed which is here only 4 1/2
feet thick.
Rocheata. Rests with sharp contact on the
departed of Clinton. The latter is a hard gray
crystalline limestone followed without transition
by the Rocheata hardened blue shales, reptile
with the regular gypsum. There may be
26 feet of Rocheata.
