"The bottom stratum is clearly a clean gravel, sandstone & the Medina dolomite and in places below as much as 8 inches of this sand; usually from 2 to 4 inches. Further down are some small pieces of the gum Medina sometimes included as pebbles. Eighteen inches above the base occur an abundance of P. Morgan and in fine specimens."
