This sharp and regular contact is rather sug- ggestive of continuous deposition and all the more so because L. Almya occurs in the basal Medina. The Clinton has a thickness of about 9 feet of thin bedded limestone over a top heavy single bed 1 4 1/2 feet = 13 1/2 feet of Clinton.
