At mile post 78 J.C. I saw one Ortho mycas. The conjugation were wider apart; may have been due to squeezing. At 78.5 are seen again in the Sharon- gate conglomerato. At 79.19 appear again the reddish sandy Oredinia shells of the Transition series. These shells are beneath the yellow ones that remind of Clinton. At 80.25—Dame rocks but here they are fairly (3/4-1/2 inches) puffed and sun cracked. Stones don't look like Red Salina at all. These are all Oredinia. At 81.75 appears the first Salina. The re- gulation red sun-cracked shells with their ortho- lime lids most beautifully sun-cracked and in promotic beds. Then for them are many small but very form ostracods. This place is south of the cratutank one-quarter mile. Have taken 2 snaf shots at M. This is south of the new R.R. station Graham a just north of the wagon bridge at Shin Hollow. Here I got on the wagon road to make better time to Port Jervis for I had all of 5 miles yet to make.
