after other visits, Saw four locomotives slowly mov- ing up our Washington, had four husford sisters go against me. We made it in 2 1/2 hours and down in 1 1/4 hours. Climbed about 1500 feet, from 1900' to 3430' Tuesday Aug 14 - 1928 A bright day but I am Tired and did no climbing, Studied the geology of Dominica Wednesday Aug 15 - 1928 A hot morning. Concluded to climb up to Mt Clinton at +1275' above sea level. Started at 9 A. M. and went on Migpah Shelter. Set to Mt Clinton at 11.15. Started down on the
