Stopped at the Lamon home
Packed up and shipped one
band and one try of fossils. Left
Cayuga by carriage at 10.30 a
m. arriving at Hayersville at
a m.
On the afternoon it
rained from on but ferded
at a quarry about 4 miles west
of the R.R. station. Could see
signs of the Carni fons.. On
this quarry is exposed about
100 feet the Michigan beds
and the Farroita beds immediately
above.
Sep. 10
Spent the morning in the same
quarry as yesterday. Tried hard to
find a Calyminia but was
only successful to get a
fragment.
