The byzov in these depressions or protected shallows are far more abundant than elsewhere while the coarse scaly shore the rock is far more cherty. Of Cornifera fossils I did not see many and did seem but little. At the locality 1/2 mile n.w. of Cagyn, where I collected on Sep. 6, does not show any Oristany.
