in th Nally of Mexic The superficial streams was running we very muddy and discharge into temporary lakes. These are valleys made here in Mexico. At 9.30 we pass through a lava flow and in the cut one sees the lava resting on the adobe floor. At Alpasco we are in Cretaceous hills. They have quarries here. The broken rubble rolls down hills and is cemented by the calcareous waters. Have a picture of it. Floor of a mine shaft. They seem to use mainly the surface tufa. The Cretaceous hills all about are as usual scattered and marshy in this a dry line. Be- tween them is a flat valley and on top of it was a small volcano. Have a picture of it. The El Paso Toulca given his help to ground surface about 70 feet. This is north of the station. Toulca also are doubtful there are considerable volcanic mountains. Where the Cretaceous is present then the adobe also has irregular layers of calcareous tufa. From Endo it is a constant nine from me rally (the Ends) into the Lagula.
