Mexico City Monday Sep. 17 - 1906
Had my return ticket adjusted and
secured a round trip ticket from San Luis
Potosi to Tampico (13-17 Mex).
Packed by my box and had Minjima ship
it via Vera Cruz and Hard Line. This addressed
"Yale University, Geological department, New
Haven, Conn., United States, via Vera Cruz and
Hard Line. [Minjima & berton]." Later he will
send me the freight receipt.
Bills of my accounts at the Carmen and
packed up.
Paid my hotel room next 10 days @ $5 and
7 days @ $3.00 = $71 Mexican.
(Mexico City Tuesday Sep. 18.)
Left at 9.45 A.M. for Zorcalas.
In a rail road cut and tunnel near Bar-
cientos one sees how the walls are made. Here
the adobe is laid down from a distinction of the
hill very flatening out. The bed rock in the
tunnel is a tufa.
